On this page of the Indiana Jones and the Great Circle guide you will learn how to get inside the hidden pyramid in Sukhothai: it's part of The Blessed Pearl quest. We will show you where to dive, how to avoid being eaten by a large snake, where to replenish your air supplies, and how to safely swim to the first room in the hidden pyramid.

Getting close to the Hidden Pyramid

  1. The Hidden Pyramid is located in the northwest corner of the Sukhothai map. You can get there as part of The Blessed Pearl quest. This will happen after solving the Gear Trains puzzle; we described it on the previous page of the guide.
  2. Indy will rejoin Gina and they will sail to the secret body of water, where you'll find the Hidden Pyramid. You can optionally take a photo of the Sukhothai pyramid.

The Hidden Pyramid puzzle, how to swim inside?

  1. After sailing to the Hidden Pyramid, the characters will determine that it has no obvious entrance. You can only get inside by swimming through the underwater caves.
  2. Return to the starting point and stop the boat near the sunken tower from the screenshot.

Equip Indy with the Rebreather, jump to the top of the tower and then dive there. From this point on you must:

  1. Keep an eye on oxygen supplies - during the crossing there will be several opportunities to take a breath of air and refill the tank in the Rebreather;
  2. Avoid the huge snake - he can eat Indy if you stay out in the open too long.
  1. The key to survival is to follow the only safe path into the pyramid. Don't try to jump into the water at a random location, because after a few moments a snake will get you and you will be unable to defend yourself against it.
  2. Swim down and start lifting the large stone block from the screenshot. This will make your oxygen supplies deplete at a faster rate, so you need to be quicker after taking it.
  1. A large snake will suddenly swim in front of you, but you don't have to make any special dodge. Just make sure not to stay in an open spot for too long (look out for the pulsating crosshair).
  2. Swim to the hole located straight ahead (see the screenshot) to get to the neighboring tower.
  1. Swim up to replenish the air supply in Indy's Rebreather. Then dive in and swim through the opening in the second tower shown in the screenshot.
  1. Swim to the hole located straight ahead (see the screenshot) and hurry again to get there before the snake notices and attacks you.
  1. Get through the darker structure and swim quickly towards the round hole shown in the screenshot above.
  1. Inside the new underwater structure, note the air bubbles from the screenshot above: that's where you can swim up and get to the surface. This will allow you to refill the oxygen in your Rebreather once again.
  1. Dive back in and swim through the new hole in the wall. There is another hole right next to it, as shown in the screenshot.
  1. Keep swimming. Next up will be a round hole visible straight ahead. Just behind it, there will be the second stone block that you'll have to pick up (see the screenshot). As before, this action will exhaust most of your oxygen supplies, which is why it is crucial to have replenished them before that.
  2. After squeezing through, the snake will attack - this is a scripted event and you don't need to worry about being eaten or having to perform any additional actions.
  1. In the new underwater area, swim into the nearby tunnel. Quickly swim to the place where you can see translucent rays. You can swim to the surface (see the screenshot above) and start exploring the interior of the Hidden Pyramid.
