This guide page has locations of all hidden altars available in Ghost of Tsushima. Hidden altars are special secrets found in the game. They are not marked on the map in any way; you are not led to them by the wind, nor by the birds. You also can't purchase any skills that will make it easier for you to find them.
Hidden altars are found in various places. It is not dependent on the region, terrain, or buildings in the area. Some altars are located by the water, others in the middle of a forest, and others in villages.

Hidden altars - what do they look like?
Hidden altars are plaques depicting a bowing figure.
When you find one, stop and then move your finger down the touch panel on the controller. This makes Jin bow down.
Honor the Unseen - trophy
Honor the Unseen trophy requires you to find and bow before the 10 hidden altars in Tsushima.
Hidden Altar - Kechi Fishing Village
Location: Kechi Fishing Village
You'll find this hidden altar by the river, on a small pier. When you bow before it, a few fish will jump out of the water.
This altar is easy to miss if you are moving mainly around the village. Head straight to the river to see the altar.
Hidden Altar - Keneda Inlet
Location: Keneda Inlet
This hidden altar can be found by the sea, in the northern part of the first region, Izuahra.
The altar stands right next to the Pillar of Honor.
Hidden Altar - Komatsu Forge
Location: Cloudy Pass
You'll find this hidden altar right next to Komatsu Forge. All you have to do is to leave it and head south-west. There is a small cemetery.
The altar stands next to one of the objects. Bow before it to worship the gods.
Hidden Altar - Omi Village
Location: Omi Lake
This hidden altar can be found right next to Omi Village. All you have to do is to leave it and head southwest along the lake. At some point, you'll come across a small pier. The altar is on it. When you bow before it, fish will jump out of the water.

Location: Omi Lake
This hidden altar can be found right next to Omi Village. All you have to do is leave it and head east along the lake. You'll find a small pier where two people fish. The altar is right next to them.
Hidden Altar - Stone Mire Lookout
Location: Old Kanazawa Marsh
This hidden altar can be found right next to the Stone Mire Lookout. Get out of the liberated camp and head east. There is another bridge at the very edge of the river. When you bow before the altar, fish will jump out of the water.

Location: Old Kanazawa Marsh
This hidden altar can be found next to the Pillar of Honor in the Old Kanazawa Marsh.
When you bow before the altar, you will see dragonflies.
Hidden Altar - Tadayori's Rest
Location: Houren's Pasture
You will see this hidden altar as soon as you move to Tadayori's Rest. All you have to do is run to the altar located in the middle of a meadow of purple flowers. When you bow, the leaves will rise and begin to spin around you.
Hidden Altar - Kashine Hills
Location: Guardian's Ridge
This hidden altar is located on a mountainside. A large tree grows in that area. When you bow before the altar, fireflies will fly around you.
Remember that there may be enemies in this location.
Hidden Altar - Yoichi's Crossroads
Location: Yoichi's Slope
This hidden altar can be found on the wall in front of the small cemetery. The secret can be hard to find thanks to the numerous bamboos growing in the area.
However, if you follow the path, you will spot the sign symbolizing the altar right away.
