You'll take part in plenty of boss battles in FF7 Remake. In addition to bosses appearing during the main plot, you will also encounter side bosses that can be defeated. In the following chapter of our guide to Final Fantasy VII Remake you can read more about all side bosses in the game.

1. Battles against summons. From time to time, you will be able to visit Chadley in order to fight against new summons. You can fight against, among others, Shiva, Leviathan, Fat Chocobo and Bahamut. The battles are not particularly difficult, especially on the default difficulty level. You can use summons in combat, which makes the task much easier.
2. Malboro. It is the first of the "hidden" bosses. The monster will only be available on Hard Mode in Shinra Combat Simulator Beta Ver. 3.1.6. You have to launch a - Three - Person Team vs. Monsters of Legend battle. The best option is to use Cloud, Aerith and Tifa. Let Aerith use Magnify + Cure Materia to cure the entire team. In turn, another member of the team can draw poison from the rest of the team.
3. Pride and Joy Prototype. After defeating Malboro, you can take part in one more battle, which is extremely difficult. You have to fight waves of summons: Shiva, Fat Chocobo, Leviathan, Bahamut + Ifrit and finally Pride and Joy Prototype. This is a very difficult set of battles - the team should be fully upgraded (have most manuscripts and SP in weapons unlocked) and perfectly prepared for combat.
