Aerith is a flower-peddler living in the slums in Sector 5. Aerith has been under Shinra surveillance all her life because she's the last of the Cetra, an ancien race with powerful magical abilities. Thanks to her extraordinary skills, her suport for the team is invaluable.

Aerith has the highest Magic attribute out of all characters available in FF7 Remake, but she's not immune to attacks, which is why she avoid direct combat and attacks from a distance. Usually, she situates herself in the back row where she can easily use defensive magic and support the team with the use of healing and defensive spells.

Tempest is Aerith's unique ability - it's a magical ranged attack that can be charged up to inflict even more damage. Depending on the type, her Limit Break restores health points of the entire team and grants them a protective shield.
