The next page of the FF7 Remake guide contains a walkthrough for Chapter 6 - Light the Way. The team must get through a complex system of tunnels and abandoned facilities.
Head for Section G
Follow Tifa and Barret. When you get to the door, you find that it needs power. Run to the Control Room and try to activate the mechanism - it turns out that it hasn't been working for ages. Now go back to the area with the door and climb up the generator nearby and use the lever.
Head for Section H
You will encounter enemies, Grashtrike, which can, for example, poison you. Tifa and her quick attacks are your best bet here. Go down and try to walk over the footbridge - it will collapse under Cloud. You can see a Materia in the distance and activate a Discovery - Collapsed Passageway. However, you will be able to reach the item near the end of the chapter.
Run up the stairs and you will reach Section G - Upper Level. With Barret and Tifa, you find that you can bypass the obstacle by using the upper levels and ventilation system. Along the way, you will come across enemies - Blugu. These opponents can e.g. cast Sleep so switch between characters and watch out for their bubble attack.
When you get to the windmills, follow the others. Along the way, you activate another Discovery - Inside the Ventilation Fan. Don't worry, you will be able to go back to this item at the end of the chapter.
Power for the Platform
You need to restore power to the main platform by redirecting the energy. Run towards the first lamp, go up the stairs and defeat enemies. Go to the switch to turn off the first light. You also reactivate the facility's defense system such as turrets.
Use the panel to move the passage to the right and you will reach the chest with turbo ether.
Now set the crossing to the left and take the new route. Fight opponents, and a little further away you will find the second light. Turn it off.
Go down the ladder and use the lift to go to the right. After a short walk, you reach the next section, where you can move the bridge to create a passage on the left. Kill enemies, enter the third generator and turn off the lights - the chest next to the switch has mesmeric amulet.
Find a ladder under the H-05 sign. You can use it to reach another Discovery - Collapsed Passageway. More details on the related page.
To the Cargo Platform
Now return to the main platform - you have restored power to it. Before using it, make sure you have completed two Discoveries - Collapsed Passageway and Inside the Ventilation Fan. When you are ready, ride the platform further and defeat more enemies. Climb up the ladder and walk down the ventilation shaft.
This is the end of Chapter 6. You meet with Biggs and receive a new weapon for Barret - Light machine gun.
