Last update: 09 August 2022
On this page of the Final Fantasy VII Remake Intermission guide you can find all needed information regarding Fort Condor minigame.
Fort Condor is a minigame that was added to FF7 Remake along with the Intermission DLC. After every match, you'll obtain extra units and locations which will help you defeat all 7 enemies, and finally face the Grandmaster of Fort Condor.
Fort Condor minigame is connected to two DLC trophies - Game Set Master (defeat all enemies in Fort Condor) and Condor Queen (defeat all enemies on Hard difficulty level)
Units - which ones to choose
Before you begin Fort Condor battles in FF7 Remake Intermission, get acquainted with basic rules - which units to use against other units.
- Red units (Vanguard): effective against green units (Ranged) but weak against blue units (Defense);
- Green units (Ranged): effective against blue units (Defense) but weak against red units (Vanguard);
- Blue units (Defense): effective against red units (Vanguard) but weak against green units (Ranged).
A good idea is to let the enemy begin the battle, so you can respond to his chosen unit with your own. In the further stages of the battle, observe which units are sent by your enemy and summon those that counter them.
Fort Condor - how to win battles?
Before you begin playing Fort Condor, check what location and units are chosen by your opponent. If as in the case above, the enemy mainly employs Ranged units, prepare more Vanguard units which will counter them.
Barracks is one of the best unit available in Fort Condor minigame, as once it is played, it will summon the right type of units until it is exhausted (unit's HP decreases after each new unit) or are destroyed.
Your objective is simple - you need to destroy enemy Headquarters - the biggest building on the opponent's side of the map. To do that, you first need to destroy one of the Outposts.
If the time has run out, the player who has more buildings or the one who dealt more damage will win the match.
Condor Coins
After defeating an opponent, you'll not only receive additional units, usable in further battles, but also special Condor Coins that can be exchanged at Old Snapper for new units and boards.
