Help Sonon
Run up to Sonon and help him in combat against special units called Deepground SOLDIER. These enemies are more durable, can become invisible for a short while, but are susceptible to Fire (Fire/Fira spells) and physical attacks deal a lot of damage to them and quickly induce Staggered status.
Combat Simulator Prototype
While running from Shinra soldiers, you'll reach Combat Simulator Prototype, where you need to take part in a few fights.
Before commencing this challenge, regenerate HP/MP of your heroes and restock at Vending Machine - don't forget to prepare a supply of Antidote.
First battle
During the first battle, you'll face two Unknown Entities. It should be mentioned that they are vulnerable to Ice (Blizzard/Blizzara), while attacks from behind can interrupt their actions.
Second battle
The second battle will be against two Zenenes. They are agile beings who don't have weaknesses, and can use magic (Poison) when their health is below 20%. Zemenes are vulnerable to quick combinations, especially Synergized Art of War.
If your heroes are Poisoned, the best way to remove this status is using Chakra Materia or Antidote.
Third battle
During the third battle, you'll be facing a small unit of soldiers. The group consists of: 1 Grenader, and 3 Riot Trooper. The enemies are vulnerable to Fire (Fire/Fira spells, Fire Ninjutsu) but physical attacks are also effective. Opponents armed with shields should be attacked from behind, so they don't block your attacks.
Fourth battle
The final battle is the most difficult one, as you'll have to deal with a very inconvenient opponent - Diabolic Creation, supported by airborne Projector.
The Projector is surrounded by an impenetrable barrier which will disappear only after you eliminate Diabolic Creation. It should be mentioned that Diabolic Creation will replenish its health until you destroy The Projector.
After the battle begins, instantly focus your melee attacks on the Right Arm of the Diabolic Creation - it is best to attack together with Sonon.
Diabolic Creation can attack with magic and Poison its enemies, so have Antidote or Chakra Materia at the ready.
Once Diabolic Creation loses its arm, it will be more susceptible to Stagger, which is the best moment to use Ice (Blizzard / Blizzara) or melee attacks.
Have a charged ATB ready to be able to use it on The Projector.
After destroying the Diabolic Creation, The Projector will lose his shield and will be susceptible to attacks. Use all your offensive skills to finish the device before Staggered loses its effect. Otherwise, it will renew its shield and you'll need to face Diabolic Creation again.
Dread (Defeat Nero)
After proceeding to the research room, you'll be facing Nero - the final boss of Final Fantasy VII Remake Intermission.
