Destiny 2: Strum revolver - how to get? Destiny 2 Guide
Last update: 25 March 2021
In this chapter of our game guide you will learn how to get one of the Exotic weapons in Destiny 2 - the Sturm revolver.
The Sturm revolver is one of the unique weapons that can be acquired by completing certain quests in the game. In addition to improved revolver parameters, such as enlarged weapon magazine, reduced recoil, and increased range, it has an additional feature: a connection to the Drang pistol - when you use it, you increase the power of Sturm precision shots and replenish energy ammunition to the Sturm. So it is worth using both of these weapons interchangeably (especially while playing the Hunter class).
Sturm revolver - how to acquire it?
To begin your journey of getting the revolver, but also the Drang, you must go to Nessus and complete all the missions with a navy blue icon and a white crown. You will receive the legendary gun as soon as you complete all missions of the series, and if you lose it/dismantle it, you can re-purchase it from Tyra Karn at The Farm.
Completing tasks on Nessus also provides an item for Master Rahool in The Tower. After visiting him, you will start a series of challenges. The first two are not difficult, but can be somewhat time-consuming: you must kill 10 Fallen by using a previously acquired Drang gun, and decode 1 Exotic engram at Rahool, 1 Exotic engram and 5 Legendary ones. These must be the engrams which you have in your inventory. The ones you receive for reputation are not counted. A very good way to get new engrams is to face any difficult opponents who appear randomly in certain locations (mini-bosses with dark orange health bars) every once in a while.
The third challenge is triggered when you returns to Rahool after finishing the second challenge and delivering a message to Tyra Karn located at The Farm. Now you have to go to Nessus, where you have to perform 10 double kills - that is, kills in which you get rid of two opponents by using just one weapon's magazine. In addition, you have to get rid of the 10 Fallen Majors who oversee the smaller enemy troops and have a yellow health bar. You'll find them in front of larger groups of enemies on the map or during public events involving the Fallen. Important: both of these objectives must also be achieved with the use of the Drang pistol.
The fourth step to get the Sturm (after returning to Tyra from the earlier challenge) is to complete the assault quest on Nessus, called Exodus Disaster. You can perform this task on your own and it doesn't have to be 100% completed in order to be counted as a step towards getting a weapon. After completing it, meet Tyra Karn again at The Farm and you will receive a Sturm revolver.
