Destiny 2: Precision Kills - how to score? Destiny 2 Guide
Last update: 24 March 2021
In this chapter of our game guide to Destiny 2 you can learn how to score the Precision Kill which is required to complete certain Bounties.
In Destiny 2, injuries that are being caused to an opponent are represented by numbers in two colors: white numbers indicate normal hits, and yellow numbers indicate that the enemy has been hit in a vulnerable spot. Some Bounties that can be bought from Banshee-44 require the player to perform a certain amount of precision kills, so we suggest how such a task can be accomplished.
How to earn Precision Kills in Destiny 2
Before you start doing Bounty where you need to score Precision Kills, check whether you don't need to do it with a specific weapon and/or in a specific location. If not, the best option is to go to Earth and eliminate weak opponents like Fallen or Cabal - their vulnerable spots are their heads. It makes no difference if the first shot hits the legs or torso, but the final shot must hit the head.
In Destiny 2, a headshot doesn't always mean hitting a vulnerable spot. Headshots are extremely effective against most opponents, such as Cabals or the Fallen. However, when fighting against Vex-type opponents, aim at glowing points that are located around the torso.
