In Destiny 2, you can customize parts of armor and raise their stats to get Masterwork, which is the highest-grade equipment. However, before you get such powerful armor you will have to do some routine work. Also, you will have to pay a little bit and use the proper crafting materials.

Legendary armor - how to upgrade to Masterwork?

When you find a piece of armor that suits your style of play and you want to make it a Masterwork you have to prepare for a bit of expenses. The first action that should be performed is to raise the weapon to a maximum 10th Tier.

Parts of armor found in Destiny 2 may already have a certain Tier, such as the shoes shown in the above image which have already been found on the 5th Tier. Thus, you will need to upgrade them 5 more times to create a part of Masterwork armor. To increase the level of armor parts from 1st to 10th Tier in Destiny 2 you will need a certain amount of the following materials:

1. Glimmer;
2. Legendary Shard;
3. Enhancement Core;
4. Enhancement Prism.

Masterwork Armor - what does it provide?

Each piece of armor raised to the rank of Masterwork provides +2 points for each attribute, or a total of +12 points for each piece. This means that if you have a complete set of Masterwork armor you can gain a maximum of +10 points for each attribute.

Enhancement Core - how to get it?

Enhancement Core is a crafting item that is essential to level up your favorite weapon to the rank of Masterwork. In Destiny 2 there are many ways to gain Enhancement Cores and among them we can distinguish:

1. Dismantling items of at least 4th Tier;
2. You can buy them from Spider's who resides in Tangled Shore;
3. Weekly Bounties from Spider in Tangled Shore;
4. Daily Bounties from Banshee-44.

Enhancement Prism - how to get it?

Enhancement Prism is a brand new crafting item in Destiny 2 that was introduced to the game in the Shadowkeep expansion set. Enhancement Prism are essential for improving the Energy Rating of your armor so it's worth knowing how you can get them.

1. By dismantling Masterwork items;
2. It can be purchased from Gunshmith Banshee-44 at The Tower;
3. Unlock them while leveling up the Season Pass;
4. Get it as a reward for completing Nightfall: The Ordeal.
