In this chapter of the Destiny 2 game guide you will learn how to quickly and efficiently generate the Orbs of Light that are required to perform certain Exotic weapons quests.
The Orbs of Light in Destiny 2 not only aid in recharging the character's super abilities, but are also required to complete certain Exotic weapons quests such as Lumina. Orbs of Light are being generated when your character kills opponents and your super ability is active. Unfortunately, it would take forever to generate, for instance, 250 Orbs of Light, so we present some much faster ways of doing it!
Orbs of Light - how to quickly generate them?
Generating a large amount of Orbs of Light by using the character's super abilities would be extremely cumbersome. Thus, it's worth to speed up the this process. In Destiny 2, you can find many weapons that will automatically generate Orbs of Light while scoring multikills, or at least double kills in a short time. In the image below you can notice the Riskrunner weapon, which has a special modification. The latter can generate large amounts of Orbs of Light.
Orbs of Light - where to farm them?
Once you get the right weapon that will generate Orbs of Light when you score a multikill, or at least a double kill in a short time, you must find the right place where you can fight against many opponents.
The best places to farm a large number of Orbs of Light are large public events that consist of several stages, such as the Escalation Protocol on Mars or Contact on Io / Titan. While completing a task of several stages, you will have the opportunity to eliminate lots of weaker opponents and quickly collect the necessary amount of Orbs of Light.
To collect Orbs of Light, you don't have to use Exotic weapons with a Catalyst. After leveling up a Legendary weapon to the rank of Masterwork, you will be able to farm Orbs of Light in the same way, that is, after performing a multikill.
