Destiny 2: Homecoming - Disable Shield Generators Destiny 2 Guide

This chapter of our Destiny 2 game guide contains a detailed description of the Homecoming - Disable Shield Generators main story quest.

- When the stage starts, go right and jump up. When you defeat the Legionaries that are waiting for you, download the plans marked by a point;
- Then the shield behind your back will disappear. Head behind the deactivated shield and move to the left;
- By killing more enemies, you will encounter the Pashk, The Searing Will champion. This opponent is a slightly stronger version of the Incendior enemies. Kill all remaining enemies first, then focus on the tanks of the stronger enemy.
Exit that leads outside.
- At some point, you'll be out in the open field again. There will be a new type of enemy waiting for you: Psion. These are Vex robots with low durability. Their vulnerable point is their head. If you give them 2-3 seconds of time they will shoot at you with the sniper rifle which deals a lot of damage, so try to run sideways and use strafe as much as possible;
- At the end of the landing bay, you'll have to duel with Brann, the Unbent Blade. It is a slightly stronger Legionary that has a lot of health points, but fortunately it has no shields. It's best to use your super ability and quickly finish the battle.
You have to jump down to the lowest level of the ship.
- When the enemy is killed, go on and jump down to the bottom of the ship. You'll come across an Incendior enemy just outside the door, so be careful;
- The next champion will attack you a little bit further. This time it will be the Kreth, the Living Skyfire, which is another enhanced version of the Incendior enemy. Kill him and head straight ahead to the generator.
To destroy the turbines, all you have to do is fire a few shots at them.
- You must cause it to overheat by destroying the three turbines;
- The first one is right below you.
Watch out for parts of the generator spinning around.
- Destroying the next ones will be complicated by the 4 generator elements that are spinning around;
- To avoid them, it is best to jump up right after the spinning element below literally flies over your head and run after it (without jumping). This way you will reach two more holes with turbines.
Go ahead all the time to complete the stage.
- After the last one has been destroyed, go to a place marked with a white point;
- Behind the gate, the cut-scene will launch. You have completed this mission.
