Last update: 24 March 2021

In this chapter of our Destiny 2 game guide you will learn what Bounties are, where to get them and how much they cost, where to check their progress, what rewards you can get from them and whether they are worth buying.

Bounties in Destiny 2 are the main way to earn a large amount of experience points, crafting materials, and special tokens for which you can buy better class equipment from the appropriate NPCs later on. At the time of writing of this guide, there are two types of Bounties in Destiny 2 - Weekly Bounties and Daily Bounties.

Bounties - how do they work, where to get them, how much do they cost?

Single basic Bounty in Destiny 2 costs 250 Glimmer. You can buy 5 of them daily, and the player has exactly 1 day and 3 hours time limit to complete them from the time of the purchase. Some NPCs such as Commander Zavala and Banshee-44 also offer repetitive Daily Bounties for the sum of 3,000 Glimmer. Weekly Bounties cost 1,000 Glimmer and the player has exactly 7 days to complete them. If a specific order is not completed within the provided time, the task is lost and cannot be completed. The progress of a Bounty quest can be monitored in the Quests tab, or even pinned to the Ghost view and checked after pressing the appropriate button (TAB key by default).
