The Final Shape DLC for Destiny 2 added a new campaign along with a wealth of fresh content. Explore the Pale Heart destination and discover the new Prismatic subclass, supers, raids, exotic gear, and more. After completing the campaign, and Alone in the Dark quest from Micah-10, you will unlock Paranormal Activities on your map. Read on to find out how to solve the cubes puzzle.

Destiny 2 – Paranormal Activity Guide

When you reach a destination marked as Paranormal Activity on your map, you’ll see a ghost circling around a pool of light. Interact with the light to activate the task and receive an Aura of Balance buff that lasts for 2 minutes, which is the time limit for completing the activity.

You’ll then notice two cubes floating in the air—one with a circle and one with a triangle. Here’s how to solve the puzzle:

  1. Position yourself where you can shoot both cubes.
  2. Shoot the cube with a blue circle using a light weapon. You will get a notification: “Light tethered”.
  3. Shoot the cube with a red triangle using a dark weapon. You should get notifications: “Darkness tethered” and “Light and Darkness connected”.

After this, the cubes will disappear, and a Triumph will be completed. For each Paranormal Activity you finish, you will receive a few Pale Heart Engrams. More Paranormal Activities will appear on your map as you bring ghosts back to Micah-10. Completing all 11 Triumphs will conclude the Paranormal Activity and reward you with an Exotic Ship.
