The ending and Endgame in Anthem Anthem Guide and Walkthrough
Last update: 11 March 2019
Progress in Anthem can be divided into four categories: main storyline, contracts, reaching level 30 (the maximum level), and completing Challenges (including secrets). Challenges are definitely the most difficult to complete - there are plenty of them and completing all of them requires determination, dozens of hours put into the game, and versatility - you need to participate in various modes, use different weapons, playstyles, and Javelins.
Completing the main storyline / pilot level 30
Let's go straight to the rewards - what you unlock by completing the main storyline and why should you do that fast. Here are the rewards:
You unlock two new Strongholds - this helps a lot in completing Challenges related to Strongholds, and this is a great opportunity to get new powerful items.
Legionnaire Challenges - these challenges require you to complete a certain number of tasks (e.g. complete Strongholds a few times). Check your progress on the board next to the Bard in Fort Tarsis (speak with him before you do that).
Legendary Contracts - sometimes, you get a chance to participate in a Legendary Contract. They are much more difficult, more complex, and they often reward you with great loot. Legendary Contracts are marked with a purple icon.
Grandmaster difficulty level - three new difficulty levels for missions, Strongholds and Freeplay. These levels make the game more interesting - enemies don't die after getting hit once, and the game becomes more challenging. Also, these levels increase your chance of getting Masterwork items.
You won't get everything by completing the main storyline - try to reach pilot level 30 (currently, the maximum level), to unlock all the attractions mentioned above.
