How to hang still in the air in Anthem?

Aerial combat is a practical and convenient fighting technique in Anthem. A player can hang in the air for a while to shoot and use his abilities. This proves even more useful when using weapons dealing aerial damage.

Hovering is often useful when performing an aerial attack.

In order to hover, shoot, switch weapon, and reload it. This will allow you to stay in air for as long as the suit allows you to - hovering is treated the same as flying, thus it causes your suit to overheat.
