General information about trophies/achievements in Anthem
- Anthem doesn't have trophies/achievements requiring impressive skills. Many of the trophies/achievements require grinding, item farming and careful exploration. Even if you use a collectible guide, getting the platinum trophy may take you 50 or more hours.
- None of the trophies/achievements require you to play on a specific difficulty level nor to cooperate with other players. However, some of them can be unlocked easier if you go on an expedition with other players. Also, once you reach level 30, try to beat every mission on one of the three Grandmaster difficulty levels.
- The Platinum trophy doesn't require you to do every challenge for all four Javelin classes. However, you need to complete at least the basic sets of challenges for each one of them. These challenges won't take you long. You can unlock the majority of the trophies/achievements by playing as your favorite Javelin class.
- The platinum trophy requires players to find a total of 300 collectibles (secrets). Some of them can be picked up a few times (during separate sessions) which means that you don't have to find every single collectible. Sadly, this doesn't work for every category. Some groups of secrets require you to find every single one of them.
Grandmaster
Trophy type: platinum
How to unlock: Get all the trophies.
Commentary: This trophy is available only on PlayStation 4.
No Stone Unturned
Trophy type: gold
How to unlock: Complete all Bastion Collectibles challenges.
Commentary: One of the most time-consuming trophies/achievements in the game - it requires you to find all 300 collectibles.
The journal tracks your progress. Go to the Challenges tab and select Exploration. Then, go to Bastion Collectibles tab. Secrets are divided into two main categories:
- Documents (see picture 1).
- Runes (see picture 2).
Regardless of the type, approach a collectible and examine it.
Bastion Collectibles challenges also require you to visit the four Tombs of the Legionnaires (this is part of the main story) and to unlock all Overlooks. The picture above shows one of them - the game marks discovered Overlooks with binoculars icon. Landmarks (along with districts and hidden places) are part of Explorer trophies/achievements.
There are a few methods helpful in getting this trophy. Some of the collectibles like the documents from the Archives group (e.g. Sentinel Archives) or Intel (e.g. Dominion Intel) can appear on the map multiple times. This works in the same way as with loot chests. Start a new expedition in Freeplay mode and then go to the locations where you already found the documents. They should appear again. This means that you don't have to find every single document - you can get multiple copies of the same ones.
Runes are harder to "cheat" - when you interact with one of them, this particular rune won't be interactive again during another expedition. If you don't want to spend time on looking for all 80 runes, get as many of them as you can and then create another pilot. Start the game with the new character and make enough progress in the game. After that, visit the locations with the runes you already got with your first pilot. The game keeps track of runes collected by all pilots created on a single account (you can have up to three pilots).
