Viper is the main mission that closes the plot of the planet Akiva in Star Wars Outlaws. On this page of the guide we'll give you tips on how to upgrade Kay's pursuer, infiltrate the Empire's base, and recapture the murderous droid.

Viper is the final mission of the main storyline on Akiva. During this mission, you will aid rebel forces in their mission to infiltrate an Imperial outpost. On this page of the guide you will find a detailed description of the quest along with useful tips that will help you in more difficult moments.
The Scavenger
Before you can tackle the Viper mission, Kay will need to upgrade her speeder during the Scavenger mission. A detailed walkthrough for this quest can be found on a separate page of our guide: How to travel on water on Akiva?.
Viper Droid fight
Your first task will be to find the downed fighter. The wreck is located in the northeastern part of the map.
Approach the wreck and examine it. Watch a cut-scene during which Kay will be attacked by a Viper droid.
This droid is a mini-boss. Here are some tips that will help you in the fight:
- Switch your blaster's fire mode to ion bolts, which deal more damage to droids.
- The Viper droid is equipped with a shield. If you keep attacking him, he will lower it from time to time and you will have an opportunity to counterattack.
- Viper will summon smaller droids from time to time to assist him. They have no shield and are quite weak, so try to eliminate them as they appear.
- Viper changes position on the arena, so remember to switch cover every now and then.
After defeating the droid, watch a short cut-scene. Immediately after it, you will be sent on a mission to infiltrate an Imperial base.
How to enter the Imperial base?
Once you get there, head to the sewer outlet to the left of the main gate.
Shoot out the power supply through the small opening. This will allow you to open the ventilation shaft on the right wall of the tunnel.
There will be a lot of Imperial soldiers lurking in front of the main entrance. Wait until most of them have left, then use Nix to activate a smoke bomb on the guard standing near the entrance. This should allow you to easily sneak into the elevator.
Raising an alarm at the facility will result in mission failure.
In the fans section, send Nix to open the hatch below the active fans. Shoot out the power system to stop the airflow and move on.
After reaching the hangar full of stormtroopers, we recommend sneaking through the right side of the room. Thanks to the obstacles there, you can easily get almost to the very end of the room without being spotted. Finally, use Nix to distract the single stormtrooper lurking near the air vent.
In the next room, distract the stormtrooper and the camera. Deactivate the camera using the computer in the next room.
Once you reach the alpha droid, you and Gedeek will be attacked by constantly advancing stormtroopers. Use covers, grenades, and various weapons to push back the aggressors. Be careful, because some of the enemies will be armed with sniper rifles, grenades and shields.
The final part of the mission will be a fight against a horde of Imperial soldiers in the hangar. Use the exploding barrels placed around the room.
After defeating the Imperials you will be rewarded with a cut-scene, after which Kay's team will leave the planet, ending the Viper quest.
