Star Wars Outlaws (SWO) - How to Fix Stuck on Infinite Loading Screen Issue

Some people complain that they are stuck on infinite loading screen in Star Wars Outlaws. Because of that they can’t even enter the game to change settings. The only thing they can do is to turn it off. This error in most cases is caused by the drive on which the game is installed. So, what can you do?

PC

If you’re stuck on infinite loading screen, there is a great chance that you have installed Star Wars Outlaws on HDD. The game works only on SSD, it is one of the minimal system requirements. So, when you use disk based on older technology, SWO just won't run.

In that case you must reinstall SW Outlaws to your SSD, if you have one. Ubisoft Connect, as most shops and launchers, asks during the process about place where you want to install the game. So, you must only pick the proper drive.

Console

On consoles the problem is result of installing the game on an external drive. So, the solution is simple – you must install Star Wars Outlaws directly on console memory.
