Problem with rivers and lake on Akiva

1. Exploring the planet Akiva is unfortunately very difficult. Kay cannot initially explore rivers, reservoirs, or the Great Basin on the western part of the map - this may prevent you from thoroughly searching the area.
2. Upon contact with deep water, the heroine will fall into it and drown by default, and then respawn on the nearest shore. This applies to both traveling on feet and using a speeder. Your task will be to upgrade the speeder so that it can move just above the water surface.

Finding Temmin

1. Start with Akiva's first main quest - The Droidsmith. In this story mission, you will infiltrate the Imperial base and rescue Gedeek.
2. The next step is to find the mechanic Temmin - Gedeek's friend. There is a mission related to this from the Expert Data category - The Scavenger. Its first part is Temmin's Family. Visit the village of Sashin and talk to the locals (image above) to find out where Temmin is and unlock the Off Scrapping Intel.

1. Start tracking the new quest in your journal and head to the indicated location in the jungle. You have to defeat the bandits and only then you can approach the building and talk to Temmin about upgrading the speeder.
2. Temmin will mount a hydrorepulsor to travel on water, but this is a temporary upgrade and you'll need to take on the Scavenger expert quest.

Obtaining Durasteel Struts for the speeder

1. Head towards the lake - Kay will be safe on the speeder until she hits an obstacle and falls into the water. This will mean drowning and respawning on the nearest shore.
2. Get to the marked area and locate the smoke - this is the place where Temmin's shuttle was found. There is a ramp nearby , as shown on the picture, and through it you can start exploring the island. Defeat or avoid enemies and squeeze between the rocks.

1. You must chase the shuttle which will fly off towards the jungle. Fortunately, the game constantly shows its location and you can't lose it.
2. Reach the shuttle landing site and infiltrate the hostile area. You can eliminate enemies in open combat or silently. The durasteel struts are in a large box next to the shuttle - the picture shows it.

Return to Temmin and permanent speeder upgrade

1. Temmin meanwhile moved to the landing pad in the city of Myrra. Bring him the durasteel struts and he'll install them for free.
2. You can now travel on water without restrictions - use this to fully explore the Great Basin (you can visit other large islands on the lake, among other places) and all rivers in the jungle (mainly the central part of the map). Thanks to this, you will reach new locations, collectibles, etc.
