Pullcaster
Pullcaster is one of the first tools available in Horizon Forbidden West, and you will craft it on the workbench during the prologue (Reach for the Stars mission). With this simple tool, you will be able to grab marked items and rip them out of walls or other objects. Moreover, the Pullcaster also allows you to get inaccessible loot boxes.

Shieldwing
Shieldwing is a very useful gadget that allows Aloy to glide to previously inaccessible locations. You will get this futuristic device while completing one of the main story missions in the game, The Embassy.

Igniter
Red crystal flower-shaped patterns are common in Horizon Forbidden West and can be found in various locations. Unfortunately, at the beginning of the game, you won't be able to break through this obstacle because you need the Igniter to do so. You will get the right tool during the main story quest, Death's Door.

Vine Cutter
The Vine Cutter is a tool that opens Metal flowers, which you can find in various places on the map of Horizon Forbidden West. When you first examine this strange flower, the game will suggest that you need the right gadget to open it.

Diving Mask
In Horizon Forbidden West, Aloy can swim and even dive, but she has a limited oxygen supply, so she can't stay underwater for very long. Fortunately, a Diving Mask eliminates the problem of breathing underwater and allows you to explore submerged locations.
