Initiating the quest
- Area: The Daunt
- Level: 7
Talk to the prisoner in the Barren Light settlement. Ask Conover for details on the members of the Eclipse.
Go to the Clearing
Head to the clearing east of the settlement that Conover mentioned.
Examine the Blood
Once in the area, examine the bloodstains on the ground.
Investigate the Clearing
Investigate the nearby area and examine the highlighted tracks near the branches and behind the boulder.
Search for Tracks and Follow the Tracks
Enter focus mode and highlight the tracks by pressing R1. Follow the tracks until you reach the clearing with the machines. Dispose of all the machines or cross the clearing while remaining hidden.
Search for Tracks
You will find more tracks by the destroyed machine at the other end of the clearing.
Follow the Trail of Blood
Use focus mode to mark the blood trail you found and follow it to the bridge.
Examine the Lookout
Cross the bridge and go down to the river. Examine the objects that someone has left on the boulder.
Search for Tracks and Follow the Tracks
Activate focus mode, mark the tracks and follow them upwards until you find the entrance to the cave at the top of the stone.
Enter the Cave
Scan the nearby area, then climb the marked lines to the top and enter the cave.
Investigate the Cave
Go deeper into the cave and investigate the sounds coming from the tunnel.
Kill the Eclipse
Kill all the people in the cave. Their leader will start hiding behind obstacles. A few precise head shots should take him out.
Examine Rayad's Corpse
At the very end of the camp you will find a dead body. Examine the corpse and take its mask.
Return to Conover
Use the exit point to quickly return to the bottom. Return to Conover in the Barren Light and tell him about what you discovered.
