Crafting arrows and ammunition
In Horizon Forbidden West, you can craft arrows and ammunition not only at the workbenches but even during combat. When the gun wheel is active, the time slows down, allowing you to quickly prepare the ammunition you need.
Crafting potions and other items
You can craft potions at the workbench, but also during exploration. Just select potions from the menu on the d-pad, then press and hold the down direction to access the crafting window. If you want to make other items, such as bombs, select another option in the drop-down menu.
Weapon and armor upgrades
You can upgrade weapons and armor in Horizon Forbidden West by interacting with workbenches. They can be found in almost every settlement and some of the smaller hunting camps on the map. Depending on the quality of the weapon or armor, you will be able to upgrade the item to a certain level.
Modifying inventory
In Horizon Forbidden West, Coils and Weaves are used to modify equipment. By upgrading your inventory, you can unlock additional upgrade slots, which allows you to install more than one modification in some items. You can use Coils and Weaves at any time, even during exploration.
