Talk to Salma at the tavern in Chainscrape. Choose the beginner's set and follow Salma's instructions to learn how to play Machine Strike.
During the game you must capture the enemy's pawns. Each pawn has a limited movement range, hit points and a damage value. During your first game you'll only have 2 pawns. Salma will explain the basic rules to you, leading you through your first game step by step.
