You will find these ruins in the center of the Stillsands, west from the Tallneck. We described it on a separate page of our guide.

You should start your adventure in these ruins by destroying the wall covered in crystals. At this point in the storyline, you should already have the igniter necessary to break through the wall. Remember to step away after using this tool. Otherwise, your character might get hurt by the exploding crystals.

Your next objective is to climb the spiraling staircase to the upper floor. There you will find a crate that you need to drop on the sand. You're going to need it to continue exploring the area.

Push the crate to the spot that was blocked by the wall of crystals. Rest assured that Aloy can handle this task and the sand won't trouble her.

Once you push the crate to its destination, slide it under the metal scaffolding so you can easily jump on it.

Your next task is to turn the valve. The water level will rise and cause a section of the ruins to sink. This will allow you to continue with your task.

When the water begins to flood the location, grab the crate again and push it into the hole that it letting the liquid flow out. The water needs to remain in the building, otherwise the water level won't rise and you won't be able to continue your task.

Once the water level rises, head to the key. It will be opposite the valve, but if you had trouble locating it, turn on focus mode (R3 on PS). Grab the key, then head to the door. You don't need a code, simply place the item on the slate and the door will open.

The final part of the task is very simple, although it may not seem logical at first glance. Grab the crate and push it into the water.

You won't be able to continue pushing the crate once it's in the water. Your task is to look for stable surfaces to drag the crate to the other side of the structure. Simply stand next to the columns or the sides of the room. Drag the crate towards you until it reaches the opposite side.

Then ride the crate up to the very top. This is the only way to reach the last floor. You will find the ornament here. Once you pick it up, it will be added to your collection.
