A variety of ranged weapons are available to Players in Horizon Forbidden West, allowing everyone to create their own set fitting their play style. Below is our proposed all-purpose kit, which will allow you to do a lot of damage, as well as quickly apply statuses to targets and/or set traps. On this page of the guide you will learn what is the recommended list of weapons for Horizon Forbidden West.
Hunter's Bow, Warrior Bow
Depending on whether you prefer close or medium range combat, one of these bows should be your main weapon. Bows can shoot regular and elemental damage-dealing arrows.
Sharpshot Bow
A slow weapon that requires a longer draw, but shoots powerful projectiles from a very long distance. A useful tool when you care about dealing massive damage rather than tearing off individual machine parts.
Blastsling
A weapon that shoots elemental damage bombs, allowing you to put a certain status on your target in a very short amount of time, weakening the opponent and giving you an upper hand in the fight.
Weapon Wheel
Of course, additional weapons can be added on the weapon wheel so you can complete the set according to your preference, for example, with the Ropecaster or the Tripcaster.
