Horizon Forbidden West: The Bigger Boom - walkthrough

Initiating the errand

1. Area: The Daunt
2. Level: 7

After completing the 3rd main quest, To the Brink, talk to Delah at Chainscrape's southern gate. Ask her about the weapon her sister mentioned. Delah will ask you for 3 Charger Horns and a Fanghorn Rib.

Gather Charger Horns

Head to the first location and hide in the tall grass. First get rid of the Burrower walking between the Chargers.

If you eliminate a Charger quietly, you'll destroy the parts you need. You must use your Focus to tag the Charger's horns and shoot them off with your bow. If you don't manage to shoot off three horns on your first try, wait for the machines to come back or use fast travel and visit the area again.

Gather a Fanghorn Rib

Go to the second location the woman mentioned and eliminate the Fanghorn. Search the machine's remains and pick up its rib.

Deliver the Parts to Delah

After collecting all the parts return to Chainscrape and talk to Delah. She'll reward you with a new weapon, the Prototype Spike Thrower with some ammo included.
