The Sims 4: Four seasons introduces a new skill - flower arranging. As you can guess from the name, this is related to making combinations of different flower species. Developing this skill is required in order to advance your florist career, but if you don't intend to work as a gardener you should also take an interest in it - flower arranging, cause it can become an additional source of income.
How to start?
The beginning is very easy - just buy the flower arranging station from the "Outdoor activities" tab. Then click on the purchased object and select "Craft compositions". At the beginning you don't have too many compositions to choose from, but as you develop your skills you will discover more.
In the menu of creating a new composition you will see the name of the composition, the required level of skills (which also means the composition level), price and ingredients. If you have all the ingredients, you can create the composition for free - ingredients grow randomly on different parts of land, but you can also seed them and at the same time develop gardening.
The created composition will appear on the table. Now you can sell it, store it in your inventory and put it in another place or even take photos of it. As you develop your skills, you will also be able to give your compositions an extra fragrance.
Skill levels
The skill of flower arranging has a standard 10 levels and you can develop it by taking tasks at flower arranging table. The table below contains detailed description about composition possibilities at every skill level:

1 | You can create basic compositions from flowers (tulips, holly, daisy, dahlia, chrysanthemum, bluebell, and begonias). |
2 | You unlock roses, snapdragons and crocuses compositions. |
3 | You unblock compositions from begonia, dahlia and tulips. You can also give your compositions a fragrance of snowdrops and crocuses. |
4 | You can unblock compositions from snowdrops, lilies and Christmas roses. In addition, level 1 flower compositions will have a higher level of quality. |
5 | You unblock compositions from orchids and birds of paradise. You can also give your compositions the aroma of roses and dahlias. In addition, level 2 flower compositions will have a higher level of quality. |
6 | You can give your compositions a fragrance of snapdragons and chrysanthemum. In addition, level 3 flower compositions will have a higher level of quality. |
7 | You can give your compositions a fragrance of tulips and Christmas roses. In addition, level 4 flower compositions will have a higher level of quality. |
8 | You can give your compositions the aroma of begonias and birds of paradise. In addition, level 5 flower compositions will have a higher level of quality. |
9 | You can give your compositions the aroma of lilies and death flowers. |
10 | You can give your compositions the smell of orchids. |
How to make money from flower compositions?
Creating flower compositions can be a very good source of income - however, you must pay attention to the quality of created compositions. You can check the quality by moving the cursor over the finished composition.
The quality of the composition is divided into three types: poor, normal and wonderful. Compositions of wonderful quality have the greatest value, but you can also earn money on the normal ones. Quality is influenced by skill level - you can already create all available compositions at skill level 5, but if you create compositions of skill level 5, it will probably be of poor quality and you will only lose money on it.
For example, your Sim has a fifth level of flower arranging, which means that level two compositions have a chance of wonderful quality. "Winter fruit" flower composition costs 64 Simoleons (if you don't have the required ingredients) and if it's of wonderful quality you'll sell it for 456 Simoleons. However, you must remember to sell it within 24 hours, after which the flower compositions will lose their value.
