The Sims 4 Seasons: Calendar - holidays, day schedule, events Sims 4 Guide, tips

Last update: 07 April 2022

The calendar in The Sims 4: Seasons is one of the biggest novelties introduced by the expansion. The calendar's main role is to divide a year into the seasons - spring, summer, autumn and winter. By default, each season lasts seven days (you can change this value in the settings) - this allows you to see which season you currently have and check the forecast for the next few days.

How to enable the calendar? Its icon is located in the lower left corner of the screen, just beside the phone icon.

How does the calendar work? This page presents its functions:

Holidays

Check out the calendar to see all the upcoming holidays. Four of them are premade and they always occur on the same days. They can be described as the main holidays because you have access to the biggest amount of activities during them:

  1. Love Day
  2. Harvestfest
  3. Winterfest
  4. New Year's Eve

Click on a given holiday to learn what activities should be done during that day. It can be "Grand meal" or "Romantic spirit". Performing activities related to a holiday is rewarded with satisfaction points which can be spent on potions and traits. You can read more about the mentioned festivals on the "Holidays" page.

In addition, random holidays may appear in the calendar. Below you can find a few examples:

  1. Rebate Day - you will pay 10% less for each object in the Build Mode.
  2. Prank Day - the day when you can do all the pranks.
  3. New Skill Day - Sims develop their skills faster during this day.
  4. TV Season Premiere - on this day you have to watch the premiere of the new season. To do this, click on the TV and select the option that allows you to watch a premiere.
  5. Lottery - on this date, you can buy a lot, either via the computer or the phone. This gives you a chance for winning additional items.

Day schedule

The calendar also allows you to check a day schedule of all family members. Clicking on a given day will display information on the hours in which your Sims work, go to school or spend time on additional activities. In addition, the calendar informs about the birthday of a given family member.

Adding a new holiday or an event

The last function of the calendar is to create your own holidays or events - thanks to this you will be able to fill the calendar with various activities. However, remember that only one holiday or event can take place during a given day.

In this mode you can choose its name, determine if it is a day off and choose a decoration theme - The Sims 4 Seasons: Calendar - holidays, day schedule, events - The Sims 4: Seasons - Sims 4 Guide

In this mode you can choose its name, determine if it is a day off and choose a decoration theme. However, the most important part is the choice of tradition - activities that should be performed on this holiday (you can choose a maximum of 5 traditions). You can choose from dozens of different traditions which means that you can create any holidays you want.

Besides that, you can also plan an event - such as a home party, a gala dinner, a wedding party or a dance party - The Sims 4 Seasons: Calendar - holidays, day schedule, events - The Sims 4: Seasons - Sims 4 Guide

Besides that, you can also plan an event - such as a home party, a gala dinner, a wedding party or a dance party. These events were available earlier, but the Seasons expansion allows you to plan them up to a maximum of two weeks in advance.
