A student's life is the main attraction of The Sims 4 Discover University. On this page of the guide, you will learn the most important information about studying. You will learn how to enter the University and what you can study. Education in the game is paid, so you should invest in a college loan.

Joining a University

Use your computer or mailbox to participate in University admissions.

Enrolling in a University is very simple. Simply use a computer or mailbox and select the option to participate in the admission. After a few days, your Sim will be able to start studying. You now need to make a few decisions. In addition to choosing a course (this topic is described below), you must also decide where your Sim will live. You can live in your current house, but it is better to choose a student hostel - you will learn what living in a hostel looks like. The last choice is the way you want to pay for your college. If you don't have enough Simoleons, you can get a loan - remember that the loan can't be canceled (you will have to repay it) and that it comes with a commission.

The available courses and profits coming from studying

Each course affects a different career. Completing this course will make your Sim receive a bonus to the careers related to it. This bonus grants you faster promotion - your Sim won't have to start their career from the lowest position. Attending a course works similarly to sending your Sim to work - you have to send your Sim to University at certain hours as well as complete tasks (e.g. doing your homework). The following table has all possible courses and careers associated with them.
