General Information

You select aspirations, i.e. a number of consecutive events that are the main goal in the Sim's life, while creating the Sim. This can be viewed later on in the aspirations panel [G].

At any moment, you can change your aspiration, by using the icon in the aspiration panel and selecting a new aspiration from the list. In the window on the right, there are four stages of a given aspiration displayed, along with their requirements. Meeting these requirements provides you with satisfaction points.

Fulfilling an aspiration provides you with an additional bonus, which you are informed about in the upper-right corner of the screen.

Athlete: Bodybuilder

Stage 1: Basic Trainer - train for a total of 8 hours; have 2 training machines.

Stage 2: Exercise Demon - jog for a total of 10 hours; train at the brink of your resistance for an hour in the Energized mood; train on 3 different parcels.

Stage 3: Fit to a T- attain level 6 of fitness; boast in front of 15 Sims; spend 50 hours training.

Stage 4: Bodybuilder - mentor 15 Sims in terms of fitness on the gym; attain level 10 of fitness; attain your body's maximum potential.

Creativity: Painter Extraordinaire

Stage 1: Ill at Easel - start painting 3 paintings, while inspired; paint for 5 hours.

Stage 2: Fine Artist - attain level 5 in paining; sell 10 to art collectors or to an art gallery; paint 3 paintings of emotions.

Stage 3: Brushing with Greatness - watch, or appreciate 30 paintings; paint 10 excellent paintings; and 25 of your paintings must be on display.

Stage 4: Painter Extraordinaire - attain level 10 in painting; create 5 masterpieces; sell to art collectors, or art galleries, paintings that are worth a total of 15 000 Simoleons.

Creativity: Bestselling Author

Stage 1: Fledge-linguist - write 2 books; break the writer's block.

Stage 2: Competent Wordsmith - write for 3 hours in a row, while inspired; write for a total of 15 hours; write 5 good books.

Stage 3: Novelest Novelist - attain level 7 in writing; publish 10 books; write 5 excellent books.

Stage 4: Bestselling Author - attain level 10 in writing; write 3 bestselling books; earn 25 000 Simoleons on royalties for the published books.

Creativity: Musical Genius

Stage 1: Tone Deaf - practice music for 6 hours; listen to music for 4 hours.

Stage 2: Fine Tuned - attain level 6 in any instrument; earn 100 Simoleons while playing; serenade a Sim while Flirty.

Stage 3: Harmonious - attain level 8 in any instrument; write 4 songs; earn 1 000 Simoleons on licensed songs.

Stage 4: Musical Genius - attain level 10 in any instrument; spend 100 hours playing on any instrument; mentor others on music for 15 hours.

Deviance: Public Enemy

Stage 1: Mostly Harmless - do 25 mean or mischievous interactions; you are disliked by 3 Sims.

Stage 2: Neighborhood Nuisance - you are disliked by 10 Sims; offend 10 people; you are hated by 2 neighbors.

Stage 3: Criminal Mind- become an adult; attain level 4 in criminal career; engage in 10 fights.

Stage 4: Public Enemy - rob 20 Sims, attain level 8 in criminal career, have 5 enemies.

Deviance: Chief of Mischief

Stage 1: Mostly Harmless - do 25 mean or mischievous interactions; you are disliked by 3 Sims.

Stage 2: Artful Trickster - engage in voodoo 5 times; perform 5 mean interactions while playful; attain level 5 in mischief.

Stage 3: Professional Prankster - play 10 pranks, hack 3 times; attain level 8 in mischief.

Stage 4: Chief of Mischief - clog drains in 5 different houses; hack, successfully, 10 times; attain level 10 in mischief

Family: Successful lineage

Stage 1: Readily a Parent- become an adult; spend 1 000 Simoleons on things for children.

Stage 2: Caregiver - become a parent; read to the child for a total of 3 hours; perform social activities, with your child, for 20 times.

Stage 3: trusted Mentor - help the child do the homework, for 3 times; your child gets an A grade at highschool; the child develops any skill to a maximum.

Stage 4: Successful lineage - mentor the child for 10 times; the child fulfills their aspirations; your child, or the grandchild, attains the peak of professional career.

Family: Big, Happy Family

Stage 1: Readily a Parent- become an adult; spend 1 000 Simoleons on things for children.

Stage 2: Caregiver - become a parent; read to the child for a total of 3 hours; perform social activities, with your child, for 20 times.

Stage 3: Loving Guardian - have your child have 5 friends; be a friend to three of your children; adopt a child.

Stage 4: Big, Happy Family - your child gets married; have 4 grandchildren; 4 of your children, or grandchildren become your good friends.

Food: Master Chef

Stage 1: Aluminum Chef - prepare 5 excellent meals; prepare 5 big portions of toast with cheese.

Stage 2: Captain Cook- attain level 5 in cooking; prepare 10 meals while inspired; receive a silver medal at a dinner party.

Stage 3: Culinary artist - become an adult; attain level 5 in cooking; prepare 8 gourmet dishes.

Stage 4: Master Chef - prepare 20 excellent meals; attain level 5 in gourmet cooking; prepare 5 gourmet dishes during a social meeting.

Food: Master Mixiologist

Stage 1: Bar Tenderfoot - prepare 20 drinks; have a bar and 2 bar stools;

Stage 2: Electric Mixer - attain level 5 in mixiology; prepare 10 drinks during one social event; prepare 3 excellent drinks.

Stage 3: Beverage Boss - become an adult; select the mixiologist as your career branch; attain level 7 of mixiology.

Stage 4: Master Mixiologist - attain level 10 in mixiology; prepare 10 excellent drinks while inspired; prepare 10 types of excellent drinks.

Fortune: Fabulously Wealthy

Stage 1: Going for Not Broke - earn 5 000 Simoleons; amass 10 000 Simoleons.

Stage 2: Learning Earning - become an adult; attain level 5 in any career branch; amass 25 000 Simoleons.

Stage 3: Well-Off - earn 75 000 Simoleons; attain level 8 in any career branch;

Stage 4: Fabulously Wealthy - earn 200 000 Simoleons; amass 100 000 Simoleons.

Stage 4: Nerd Brain - attain level 10 in logic; read through 15 books; repair, or upgrade 15 objects.

Stage 1: Amore Amateur - initiate successfully 10 kisses; have 2 dates.

Stage 2: Up to Date - attain level 5 in charisma; obtain bronze medal on 3 dates; break up with 2 Sims.

Stage 3: Romantic Juggler - attain level 8 in charisma; maintain a strong romantic relationship with 3 Sims at a time; kiss 10 Sims.

Stage 4: Serial Romantic - attain level 10 in charisma; obtain a gold medal on 5 dates; maintain a strong romantic relationship with 5 Sims at a time.

Stage 4: Soulmate - do 200 romantic acts towards your spouse, while in the Soulmate status; obtain gold on 3 dates with the spouse.

Stage 2: Garden Variety - attain level 5 in gardening; evolve 10 different plants; harvest from a total of 20 plants.

Stage 4: Freelance Botanist - attain level 10 in gardening; own 10 happy plants at a time; evolve 10 excellent plants.

Stage 1: Fish out of Water - catch 10 fishes; angle in 4 different spots.

Stage 2: Hooked - fish for a total of 10 hours; catch 20 fishes; attain level 4 in angling.

Stage 3: Real Smart - frame, to hang on the wall, or put in the aquarium 15 fishes; catch 6 fresh fishes; attain level 7 in angling.

Stage 4: Angling Ace - catch 20 fishes with a bait; angle for 100 hours; attain level 10 in angling.

Stage 1: Out and about - collect 10 different collectibles.

Stage 2: Gatherer - collect 8 crystals, collect 8 frogs, collect 4 fossils.
