On this page of the Lost Ark guide we have described the class of one of the Martial Artist game characters - Scrapper. It's based on the version of the game from 2022.
Last update: 22 March 2022
This page of the guide covers the features and skills of the Martial Artist class, specifically the Scrapper Advanced Class. This page lists Scrapper's skills and engravings using terminology and the Shock Training and Taijutsu Scrapper builds relevant in 2022.
Scrapper class description
Gender: Female
Combat style: Melee
Specialization: Instead of using Stamina (MP) like most classes, she uses "power balancing" - using some skills unlocks the ability to use others. Yellow-background skills are called Stamina Skills, green-background skills are Shock Skills.
Scrapper is not a powerful class or an extremely specialized one, but she does bring something new to the game. Instead of using her MP to use skills, she maintains an "energy balance" by using two types of skills. Therefore, you need to know and remember which skills to use in order; you also need to refine your strategy. Compared to the Wardancer class, the Scrapper values strength slightly more than speed.
This class is dedicated for casual players - it is easy and does not require much commitment. Thanks to its mechanics, the gameplay doesn't have a steep learning curve, nor does it require focusing on builds or character development.
Taijutsu Scrapper build
The Taijutsu Scrapper focuses on using yellow Stamina Skills. They're Back Attacks which require you to hit enemies in the back to reach their full potential. Nearly each one Staggers which lets you execute combos without getting hit back. By using Tripods, you can build nearly every attack to hit multiple times, which synergizes well with Crit Rate and Crit Damage, in which you should invest.
Engravings:
- Ultimate Skill: Taijutsu - - the main engraving of the class, it improves Stamina skills, but weakens the Shock skill.
- Adrenaline - this engraving, although often supportive in other builds is crucial here - it increases your attack power by 1% after each attack (stacking up to 6 times) and increasing crit chance.
Optional Engravings:
- Master of Ambush - Highly recommended due to increasing the damage of Back Attacks, which you'll be using a lot.
- Grudge / Cursed Doll - for advanced players who can reliably dodge enemy attacks.
Battle stats
- Crit - around 70%, crucial in this build due to how many times you'll be hitting enemies,
- Swiftness - around 30% - strengthens your skills, attack speed and movement speed.
Skills, tripods, and runes:

The numbers in parentheses are the skill level we suggest you to have at character level 50. means you should develop it further, - means you should prioritize developing it.
Playstyle:
Your playstyle focuses on the Adrenaline engraving. You must execute a combo which becomes stronger overtime, aim for crits, only then begin the next combo. You should attack enemies from behind whenever you can, as most of your attacks are Back Attacks. Do not stop attacking - the Scrapper doesn't need any downtime.
Shock Training build
As opposed to the Taijutsu Build, this time we will focus on Shock Skills (those with green backgrounds). In this case, instead of centering the build around critical attacks, the goal is to ensure that each technique passively deals high damage. This is pretty effective, as your basic attack can often out-damage similar classes.
Engravings:
- Shock Training - the basis of the build; increases Shock Skill power and Shock Energy recovery.
- Adrenaline - increases attack power to a maximum of 6% when using this skill, which then increases the critical hit chance by 15%.
Optional Engravings:
- Master of Ambush - for Back Attacks, as the Scrapper has plenty of these,
- Spirit Absorption - increased mobility and attack speed while also improving your ability to dodge.
Battle stats
- Crit - around 35% - this build greatly benefits from critical damage, but slightly sacrifices it in favor of regular attacks.
- Specialization - about 65% - for this class, increases the effectiveness of the Shock Skill, which increases their basic attack damage.
Skills, tripods, and runes:
Skill | 1st Tripod | 2nd Tripod | 3rd Tripod | Rune |
Charging Blow (4) | Ready Attack | Stone Fist | Death Band | Rage |
Crushing Smite (7) | Amplified Damage | Focus | Bleed
Fierce Tiger Strike (7) | Amplified Damage | Focus | Rough Smash
Dragon Advent (6) | Moment of Truth | Overwhelm
Roundup Sweep (10) | Swift Preparation | Madman | Reinforced Hit | Rage |
Death Rattle (10) | Quick Prep | Single Hit | Shock Explosion | Galewind |
Chain Destruction (10) | Endless Rage | Tenacity | Shaking Ground
Supernova (10) | Quick Prep | Piercing Strike | Spinless Hit | Galewind |
Undefeated Dragon King (Awakening) |
The numbers in parentheses are the skill level we suggest you to have at character level 50. means you should develop it further, - means you should prioritize developing it.
Playstyle:
Your main attacks are Death Rattle and Supernova, supported by yellow skills, for faster Stamina recovery. However, you will be forced to wait, as you should avoid using Death Rattle when your Shock Meter is at a low level. Your goal is to inflict as much damage as possible in the shortest possible time at close range and then to move away from the strong opponent. Ideally, you should focus on back attacks, as they will increase your critical hit chance.
