Ghost Ship is one of the Procyon's Compass events in Lost Ark. On this page of the guide you will find out how to find a Ghost Ship, how to defeat the boss and what rewards you can expect.
How to find a Ghost Ship?
Many players have trouble finding a Ghost Ship. However, this is not as problematic as it may seem. On the world map, the ship markers (3 markers for 3 difficulty levels) indicate the precise location of where the ship will appear. Admittedly, when sailing out into the Dead Seas, the ability to see the area is greatly reduced, but if you set the navigation marker directly over a ship visible on the map (instead of sailing manually), you should reach it without any problem.
- All Ghost Ships are located in the western Sea of Procyon. To get there, you must complete all the Shushire story quests.
- In order to start the simplest event, Nightmare Ghost Ship, you must reach 460 ilvl.
- The event is available only on selected days and times according to the calendar.
- You can start an event only once a week (on Thursdays).
- Una's Task: Bleak Night Fog is also related to the Ghost Ship events. This task is an additional opportunity for you to grab some rewards.
Once you're near a ship, it will be clearly visible, especially when you hover over it as it will be highlighted then. You can also just follow other players - there is never a shortage of people willing to participate in the event.
What does the fight look like?
On the ship, you will fight a powerful boss. The basic rule: you cannot abandon the ship. If you leave the event, you will not be able to return to it until the next event on the calendar (in several days). For this reason, if you die, you must use Phoenix Plumes to be resurrected. If you see a small number of players heading towards a Ghost Ship, you should try changing the channel or choosing a different time to attack.
The boss fight on the ship is very similar to fights against other Field Bosses. However, this enemy is very strong. It has a Stagger bar and can be stunned for a while. However, he is strong and resilient, and uses near-death attacks, so focus on dodging first. Many of the boss's attacks impose curses, especially those slowing you down, so it is recommended to have a Swiftness Robe on you and/or Time Stop Potion to increase your chances of survival.
Rewards
The grand prize for participating in Ghost Ship events is Eibern's Wound ship. In order to get it, you need to complete Una's Task: Bleak Night Fog. Other rewards include:
- Honing materials, including rare books that increase the chance of your upgrade being successful;
- A chance at getting engravings books associated with the highest levels;
- Cards;
- Pirate Coins.
To sum up, participating in this event does not require a lot of sacrifices and is a rather rare event. However, of all the available events, Ghost Ships offer the most valuable rewards.
