Deathblade class description
Gender: Female
Combat style: Melee
Specialization: Death Trance - eliminating enemies allows to use powerful abilities after filling up three areas.
The Deathblade is a balanced melee class. It relies on mobility - both on offense and defense. Jump, attack, dodge. This class requires the highest mobility. Attacks are directed at small enemy groups, so it's crucial to find the right position on the battlefield and assess the situation.
It's a DPS class that does not allow room for error - dodge instead of blocking. However, it's not excessively difficult to learn how to play it effectively.
This class is slightly different from the rest. It has two basic class builds, but allows you to play without using them, creating your own combinations of engravings. It performs well in PvP games.
Surge build
The Surge build is based on constantly attacking enemies and improving the character's combat performance. Surge is a special engraving that converts the Blade Surge special ability to Zero, introduces a buff that increases damage during combat, and allows you to regain a portion of the Death Orb Meter after combat.
Engravings:
- Surge - class engraving. Just leave it at level 1.
- Master of Ambush - basic Back Attack boost for every Assassin class build.
Optional engravings:
- Adrenaline - a fully build-compatible engraving that adds a cumulative buff to attacks and crits.
- Super Charge - improves "charged" skills,
- Grudge - increases damage taken and attacks dealt (level 3 required).
Combat stats:
- Crit - 30% - the points left over after Specialization should be allocated to critical strike chance.
- Specialization - 70% - improves: attack power, meter recovery, reduces cooldown and significantly improves Awakening skill damage.
Skills, tripods, and runes:
Skill | 1st Tripod | 2nd Tripod | Tripod 3 | Rune |
Wind Cut (7 ) | Quick Prep | Sustain Damage | Thick Sword Energy | Rage |
Spincutter (6 ) | Open Weakness | Quick Prep | Triple Spin | Quick Recharge |

Blitz Rush (10) | Vital Point Hit | Charge Enhancement | Shadow Rush | Protection |

Flash Blink (Awakening) |
The numbers in parentheses are the skill level we suggest you to have at character level 50. means you should develop it further, - means you should prioritize developing it.
Playstyle:
When using the Surge build, you need to follow what engraving dictates. Specifically, you need to attack enemies by rotating through skills, ending with the Blade Surge skill, which has now become the Zero skill. It will allow you to recover some of the meter to restart the sequence in Death Trance. Using this build is challenging, as it's unforgiving of mistakes, requires Back Attacks for full effectiveness, and has skills with long wind up times during which you are at risk of taking damage. It's also worth using the Open Weakness tripod effectively with the Spincutter skill, which buffs both you and other team members.
Remaining Energy build
In the Remaining Energy build, as in Surge, you will still rely on building up your meter through powerful Charging Skills, but this time it's to deal direct damage (without building up buffs) and make effective use of the final Blade Burst.
Engravings:
- Remaining Energy - class engraving. Initially, level 1 is sufficient.
- Super Charge - improves Charge type skills.
Optional engravings:
- Adrenaline - a fully build-compatible engraving that adds a cumulative buff to attacks and crits.
- Master of Ambush - Back Attack's basic upgrade.
- Grudge - increases damage taken and attacks dealt (level 3 required).
Combat stats:
- Crit - 30% - the points left over after Specialization should be allocated to critical strike chance.
- Specialization - 70% - improves: attack power, meter recovery, reduces cooldown and significantly improves Awakening skill damage.
Skills, tripods, and runes:
Skill | 1st Tripod | 2nd Tripod | Tripod 3 | Rune |
Spincutter (4 ) | Open Weakness | Quick Prep | Triple Spin | Quick Recharge |

Soul Absorber (10) | Swift Fingers | Fist of Darkness | Halve | Wealth |

Playstyle:
Deathblade has the special ability Blade Surge, which is only available during Death Trance, a state activated when at least one orb from the Death Orb Meter is full. The playstyle focuses on filling up the meter by attacking to correctly launch one especially devastating attack. In this case, however, you focus more on Charge attacks, such as Blitz Rush, Void Stike and Soul Absorber and dealing strong damage with more than just the final attack. When you use Blade Surge, it depletes your meter, therefore the next rotation is largely about refilling it.
