Lost Ark: Artillerist (Gunner) - character class Lost Ark guide, walkthrough
On this page we have described the class of one of the Lost Ark (version from 2022) Gunner game characters - Artillerist.
Last update: 22 March 2022
This page of the guide covers the features and skills of the Gunner, specifically the Artillerist Advanced Class.
Artillerist class description
Gender: Male
Combat style: Long-range combat
Specialization: Firepower Meter - can use a special attack after charging the skill meter. This grants access to special skills but prevents movement.
The Artillerist is yet another Advanced Class that uses firearms. Stay close to the battlefield and focus especially on eliminating smaller threats. The Artillerist has very high attack power and some of the highest area damage. Unfortunately, he is very slow, so don't take him right into the middle of the enemy army. His skills transform his weapon into a machine gun, a grenade launcher or a flamethrower.
This class specializes in eliminating smaller enemy groups - it works well as a team member, during boss fights and exploration of narrow dungeon tunnels. Due to his low mobility and mediocre defense, the Artillerist is vulnerable to being surrounded by enemy units, therefore you should master finding the right spot on the battlefield if you want to play this class.
The artillerist is easy to pick up and can be very enjoyable but is difficult to master. Some of his skills have a significant delay between activating them and the skill actually working, which means PvP is made much more difficult and you need to know the bosses' patterns to hit them.
Firepower Enhancement build
Firepower Enhancement doesn't change the class' build and playstyle too much. The build is supposed to max out crit rate and crit damage.
Engravings:
- Firepower Enhancement - Level 3, less damage taken, higher crit rate.
- Hit Master - damage increase with nodrawbacks.
Optional Engravings:
- Adrenaline - increases damage and crit rate.
- Keen Blunt Weapon - level 3 required, increases crit damage even more.
- Barricade - damage increased when using a shield: synergizes with the Energy Field skill and Protection runes.
Combat stats:
- Crit - 70% - Artillerists are heavily focused on crit damage.
- Swiftness - 30% - slightly accelerates your slow character's attack speed, movement speed and reduces cooldown times.
Skills, tripods, and runes:

Playstyle:
Artillerists don't move much due to not being very mobile - instead they dish out strong critical hits with high Stagger. Thanks to their high health and armor they can shrug off weaker attacks.
