The Tower has 50 levels per Tier, with the Shadowspire area available for Tier one. The initial challenge, that's difficult for many players, is floor 48. This page of the guide to Lost Ark explains how to complete it.
On the 48th floor of Shadowspire you will receive a debuff - Silence. It will prevent you from using your skills and striking. In this challenge you have to skillfully defeat the enemy using grenades. You must eliminate just the opponent with the yellow border. Since you can only carry 3 grenades by default, and the enemy has 4 health bars of 186,000 each, it won't be easy (you can check the amount of damage you deal by hovering over the bomb). Once you're in the arena, stand on the right side which is devoid of enemies. Later, you will notice that the enemy performs one sequence and then stands still. Other opponents will come, though. How to prepare:
- Take grenades that do a lot of damage, such as the Whirlwind Grenade. Since the opponent is not mobile, and will be limited by its allies in the crowd, the Flame Grenade should do more damage(and it also has a chance to do critical damage over time).
- The strength of grenade attacks also depends on your equipment - primarily its durability. Therefore, fix your gear before entering the Tower.
- Additionally, you will need items such as: Swiftness Robe (enemies can slow you down, and with the robe you can dodge attacks more easily), Taunting Scarecrow (it will focus the enemies' attention), HP Potion.
If you still have trouble completing the level, you can take radical measures:
- Explosive Expert - is an Engraving that increases the amount of bombs/grenades you can carry,
- Remember that grenades can deal critical damage - if you complete Chaos Dungeon for example, wear a random piece of jewelry that raises your Crit for the duration of that part of the game.
It's worth taking this challenge seriously right away, because all Battle Items can cost a lot.
