Lost Ark: Gunslinger (Gunner) - character class Lost Ark guide, walkthrough
On this page of the Lost Ark guide (version of the game from 2022) we have described the game character Gunslinger of class the Gunner.
Last update: 22 March 2022
This page of the guide covers the features and skills of the Gunner class, specifically the Gunslinger Advanced Class.
Gunslinger Class Description
Gender: Female
Combat style: Short and long range combat.
Specialization: This class uses three weapons and can switch between them during combat.
She uses three types of weapons, which she switches during the fight. A class almost identical to Deadeye - except that it specializes in long-range combat more (sniper rifle). The strengths of this class are attack power and mobility. Each weapon has its own set of skills and cooldowns. Aiming skill is also important when using this class.
It's a DPS class for long-range players, and it requires mastery of three-weapon combat mechanics.
By default, the heroine uses 3 weapons, but you can limit their number to two by using the Time to Hunt class engraving. The features of the 3 weapons are presented below:
- Pistol: buffs and debuffs, also high mobility skills for dodging and short range combat,
- Shotgun: basic attacks that deal damage at close range,
- Sniper rifle: high damage and critical damage inflicted over long distances. Most attacks take a long time to prepare.
Also, it's worth noting that this is not a heroine who can rely solely on a sniper rifle. Other weapons, on the other hand, require closer encounters with opponents, making it impossible to classify the Gunslinger as a fully ranged class.
Peacemaker build
Peacemaker is the basic build of Gunslinger. It focuses on dealing critical damage by using all three weapons. However, each weapon receives other type of bonus. Guns: increased attack speed; Shotgun: more critical damage; Rifle: increased damage. Despite the above, the build primarily focuses on using the maximum potential of sniper rifle.
Engravings:
- Peacemaker - Level 1. You can invest more points in the skill if you don't want to focus only on maximizing the rifle's performance, but it weakens the build slightly.
- Hit Maste - increases normal damage with no negative effects,
Optional engravings:
- Adrenaline - increases a % chance to get critical damage.
- Keen Blunt Weapon - greater chance of critical hits at the expense of their damage. Level 3 required.
- Spirit Absorption Raid Captain - an alternative solution that will not improve your crits, but can increase your base damage.
Combat stats:
- Crit - 70% - increased chance of inflicting a critical strike; build base.
- Swiftness - 30% - enhanced attack speed, movement speed and cooldowns.

Playstyle:
The protagonist uses pistols as her primary attacking form when moving around and when out of combat. This allows her to apply debuffs to enemies (which don't stack) and get a high mobility. Especially due to the fact that she doesn't have to take a specific position in the arena in order to attack the enemy. Quick Step will allow you to quickly approach the enemy to deal damage with shotgun. In other case, you can freely use shotgun for ranged attacks. Not everyone may find it easy to get used to the specific Gunslinger style of play and frequent weapon changes.
Note that shotgun attacks have a Back Attack parameter. To get rid of this inconvenience, use In a Tight Spot tripods.
Time to Hunt build
Time to Hunt is a rarely used build, mainly due to the lack of shotgun in the heroine's arsenal. This narrows the combat playstyle options, but allows you to assign points to selected skills more freely. This build still uses the Peacemaker engraving to enhance both the pistols and the rifle.
Engravings:
- Peacemaker - Level 1. You can invest more points in the skill if you don't want to focus only on maximizing the rifle's performance, but it weakens the build slightly.
- Time to Hunt - class engraving, suggested level 3. In exchange for removing the shotgun, you get a 35% chance for a critical hit while using pistol and rifle.
Optional engravings:
- Adrenaline - increases a % chance to get critical damage.
- Hit Maste - increases normal damage with no negative effects,
- Keen Blunt Weapon - greater chance of critical hits at the expense of their damage. Level 3 required.
Combat stats:
- Specialization - 40% - in case of Gunslinger it improves normal and critical damage.
- Swiftness - 60% - enhanced attack speed, movement and cooldowns.
- Optional - Crit.

Playstyle:
This less specialized build will allow you to feel more like a sniper. The standard form of play focuses on guns in order to be more mobile and use skills with a buff / debuff option. The main part of combat focuses on a few sniper rifle attacks, that is, you have to rely on the high power of attacks and the high chance of critical hits. The damage may be high, but the final DPS is lower than in the Peacemaker build.
