On this page you will read what Dungeons are, what they offer, how you can enter them, can you explore dungeons with friends, and whether you have to complete all difficulty levels by filling out the Adventurer's Tome.
Dungeons are a feature of most RPGs. They are closed areas that feature a boss fight at the end of the exploration and provide interesting rewards.Dungeons count as progress in the Adventurer's Tome, and thus as progress in gameplay. Dungeons in Lost Ark have the following features:
- Each area in a given continent typically has about 3-4 dungeons.
- Sometimes dungeon exploration is a part of the main storyline.
- Dungeons have two difficulty levels - Normal and Hard - which differ in enemy levels and available rewards. To complete the whole Adventurer's Tome, you must explore the dungeons in both levels.
- You can enter the dungeons alone, with your own team, or use the Matchmaking system. The quests in the dungeons are simple, so you don't have to communicate with the team.
- If you enter with a team, you will receive fewer and less valuable rewards, but you will complete the challenge much faster.
- You can visit the dungeons as many times as you want - there's no limit.
- There is also no level limit - you can assist your friends that have only just started playing.
Dungeons are a great way to get items, (also rare ones) related to the Adventurer's Tome. If you're up to the challenge, you can explore the dungeons on your own on the Hard difficulty to obtain rare items or upgrade your gear at low cost. Remember, however, that the level of every dungeon is fixed. If you visit the first dungeon with a character on level 30, you won't find any challenge there, and also no interesting rewards.
