Road of Lament is the first Tier 2 Ark of Arrogance Abyssal Dungeon in Lost Ark. On this page you will learn the boss fights mechanics and how to complete this dungeon. To enter the dungeon, you need an item level of 840.
Nazan
Nazan is the first boss in Abyssal Dungeon: Road of Lament. He's not a very tough one, although he has one deadly mechanics. Other than this, most of his attacks are slow. Just bear in mind that once he targets a person, subsequent attacks will usually be aimed at that particular person or their most recent position.
Once the boss's life drops to 8 and 4 health bars respectively, the "carousel" stage will begin - Nazan will spread his arms to the side and will start spinning, emitting high-damage lasers from his hands and pushing you away towards the obstacles in the area. The boss may pause for a moment to start spinning in the opposite direction. At that moment, his immunity is increased and you cannot get close to him because of his red aura. You must wait it out while taking as little damage as possible. The Swift Robe item will help you dodge, temporarily increasing your movement speed.
This mechanic might also come in a different form: in this case, the safe area is created around the boss and you cannot move away from it. This might be an easier option because you circle your enemy much quicker, but it's also easy to make a mistake by simply moving in the wrong direction. Try to click quickly, in front of the hero, taking small steps.
The second mechanic involves crosshairs that appear above players' heads. Everyone must then go to separate corners of the arena, because damage fields will be dropped onto the position of every marked players and, naturally, it will inflict damage and push everyone back. If it's dropped near a boss, it will prevent you from escaping the "carousel".
Kyzra
The second boss, Kyzra, has a critical mechanic that leads to wipe. In addition, she can be a difficult opponent because of how dynamic her combat style is throughout the whole fight.
One of the dangerous attacks is the one during which she disappears from the arena, which is followed by lightning strikes around the arena. After that, Kyzra reappears right by one of the players and inflicts damage. It's a good idea to stay on the move at all times to avoid this attack as she will stun you and can end up taking a lot of damage.
The second attack comes in the form of an aura. For a certain amount of time, when a round field is visible around the boss, you have to avoid being within her striking distance. During this time, only ranged attacks will be effective. The field will not last long, though.
The third stage will come when the boss has about 13 health bars left. This is a classic Stagger Check, which you will also be informed about by a message below the center of the screen.
The key mechanic will begin when the boss has 9 health bars. You need all players or three experienced ones to get through it. So, if someone dies early, you can restart this stage. After Kyzra teleports to the center of the arena, players should line up on the sides around the boss(it's recommended to decide who stands where before entering the arena). Then you have a few seconds to collect three golden orbs while avoiding the red ones.
Once you do this, you will receive an aura around the character. It will destroy the red orbs that will be coming towards the boss after a while. If 3 orbs reach the boss, you lose. In addition, you cannot position yourself near Kyzra because she emits round damaging waves around her. Touching the orb is not enough to destroy it, you also have to wait for it for about a second (the orb must be in the round zone, but you can keep moving around). If you fail to do this, you will die.
