Hall of the Twisted Warlord is the first Tier 1 Phantom palace Abyssal Dungeon in Lost Ark. On this page you will learn the boss fights mechanics and how to complete this dungeon. To enter it, you need an item level of at least 460.
Phantom Legion Bishop
The first boss fight is actually a fight against two enemies: Phantom Legion Bishop and Phantom Legion Rook. Your job is to eliminate both of them at the same time. They both make a variety of attacks which are mostly easy to dodge. These will come in form of either striking orbs or shock waves, whereas Rook is using melee attacks.
The first mechanic of this fight will begin when Bishop receives a significant amount of damage. Then a field will appear around each player that pushes back and wounds other players. In addition, a crosshair will appear above all players' heads. After a while, the targets will disappear and only one over one person will remain. Now:
- Other players should move away from the center of the arena so as not to interfere;
- The player who is still marked by the crosshair should position themselves behind the boss in the middle (Bishop);
- At the same time, the second boss, Rook, will be making his way to one of the corners of the arena. The marked player must position themselves so that Rook's attack interrupts Bishop's attack.
- This mechanic will resume when Bishop has about 6 health bars. However, then you must first destroy the towers around the boss, which will prevent Rook from attacking.
It's not a difficult fight and virtually all responsibility for its success rests with the marked player. You can complete it even if someone dies. If Bishop's attack is not stopped, a wipe will occur, which means the death of all players.
After these two actions, the rest of the fight proceeds in much the same way as at the beginning. However, you should focus on weakening both bosses at the same time. When only one of them dies, the remaining one will get a very strong reinforcement and defeating him will be a tough task. It doesn't matter which boss dies first.
Phantom Legion King
The second boss fight is one of the toughest challenges of all the initial Abyssal Dungeons, especially when combined with flawed communication. It is not possible to complete this stage if some players are unfamiliar with the mechanics and do not cooperate. Phantom Legion King is one of the dynamic bosses with numerous area attacks. One of the attacks creates two high-impact zones that will rotate. At this point, rely on Stagger attacks to interrupt the following attack sequences.
A special attack will be activated in the second stage of the fight, when the boss has 16 health bars, and again when he reaches 6 health bars. The enemy will teleport to the center of the arena and a Stagger bar will appear below him. After a moment, he will release 4 Illusion Swords. If you touch any of them, you will end up with Phantom Curse status. The curse is effective for 2 seconds and it's possible to attack the boss only when it's active. The swords follow the players. Wipe of players will occur if:
- Time will pass - you only have a dozen or so seconds to perform the entire mechanics;
- Whichever player collects two swords at once (that is, when the curse is active, which is why you can't stand near the boss at the start of the mechanic).
To complete this stage correctly, players should line up in the arena forming the shape of a cross. Each player should move clockwise when the boss's attack starts and collect the swords in a set order. Most often, the order is determined by the number in the team. However, it is recommended to determine the order based on what Stagger attacks the players have. After initiating the mechanics, the first person quickly grabs a sword and starts attacking the boss with High Stagger attacks. Other players wait for their turn by running away from the swords.
The information whether the curse is active is displayed in the form of a small icon above the mana bar. Do not collect the sword while the curse lasts, but do so immediately when it ends. For this reason, keep observing the little icon until it disappears (after the 2 seconds, as mentioned earlier).
If your hero is slow and/or lacks High Stagger attacks, use grenades: Whirlwind or Clay.
