Last update: 22 February 2022
The Adventurer's Tome is a kind of journal that records your progress across continents in Lost Ark. On this page you will learn: how to receive rewards for your progress, how to check your progress and what activities the journal consists of.
How to pull up the Adventurer's Tome
The Adventurer's Tome is an indicator of your progress in the game - you open it with the N key. You can use it to track your progress in specific regions to:
- Complete 100% of the game,
- Find out what interesting side activities are available on the continent,
- Earn special rewards for every 10% of progress.
To claim progress rewards, open the Adventurer's Tome and press the Claim All button on the left side below the continent name and progress percentage.
Unique rewards - Ignea Token
Completing 100% of the progress of each region rewards you with an item: the Ignea Token. It's a special item that you can trade for unique rewards - there are a total of 14 tokens to collect (1 for each continent).
You can exchange the tokens at the merchant at the inn in Prideholm. By interacting with him, you can see what rewards you will receive for collecting all tokens. These are unique items of various types that can help you in combat, but also allow you to show off your unique gear to other players.
Contents of the Adventurer's Tome
Each continent has its own page and rewards. Each page of the Adventurer's Tome - and thus the overall progress - consists of:
- Main quests (and side quests too, as they often unlock various items and secrets).
- Defeating the continent's boss(es) - they respawn at specific locations on the continent every half hour or so. Any player can take part in such a boss fight. Players in the chat often pas the info that the boss has respawned,
- Dungeons - you must complete them on every difficulty level (alone or in a team). To progress fully, you must complete a given dungeon on both difficulty levels - doing so on the Hard level doesn't automatically complete the Normal level,
- Collectibles - these are items that are sometimes dropped by specific monsters - their rarity varies. A good way to acquire them is to complete Dungeons. These collectibles are unique to each continent. Later you can buy them or sell the excess ones in the Auction House (for gold).
- Cooking Recipes - In the settlements and towns in the region you will find cooks who can make special dishes for you to eat. You have to pay for them and also provide a special ingredient that you have to obtain in a certain way.
- Viewpoints (Vista) - these are points marked with a telescope that you should visit.
- Monsters - a list of unique Elite monsters in a region that must be defeated. These are mini-bosses that respawn at fixed locations. Each area of the region has its own monsters - this is where you will most often find these bosses (unfortunately, it's easy for another player to get to them first). Mini-bosses have an overhead yellow marker.
- Another Story - side quests marked on the map as exclamation points. They often consist of multiple steps.
- Hidden Stories - secrets hidden in various unusual places. You'll most often find a letter in a given place that you can read.
- Unlock Triports - simply interact with them to unlock them. They will also be useful for quick travel,
- Rapport - achieve a high level of trust with people in the region marked with the heart icon.
In other words - completing all the quests and challenges, and finding the secrets listed in the Adventurer's Tome is the only way to complete 100% of the game.
