Farming Simulator 25: Storing resources
Crops in Farming Simulator 25 are counted in tons, and therefore need to be stored somewhere. On this page of the guide we have described where you can store the crops you harvest.

Storing resources is a very important aspect of Farming Simulator 25. Leaving the harvested crops in the harvester is not an optimal choice. You need to know where to move them. On this page of the guide we have described where you can store your harvested crops.
Where can you store your resources?
- Silos - the most basic and most universal place for storing crops. You will find the basic grain silo on your farm. You can also place additional silos through the building menu. In the Silos tab you will also find buildings for storing slurry and other products. These buildings work similarly to silos. There are also public silos out there. Silos allow you to either fill the silo by dumping the crops from the vehicle or to empty the silo into a trailer positioned under the pipe.
- Trailers - if a silo meant for storing specific crops is not available, you can keep them on a trailer - although of course this means you can't use it for anything else until it's emptied. For the safety of crops, you can also keep the trailer in a garage or another building, or, in the case of more expensive trailers, use its cover.
- Pallets and bales - some resources such as hay, grass and straw can be packed into bales - either square or round, depending on the machinery used. These can be stored anywhere, although buildings are obviously the best choice (bales can also be placed in a special building where they can be processed into silage). Many purchased raw materials (e.g. fertilizer or seeds) will arrive on pallets, which can also be placed anywhere and stay there until they are needed. Moving pallets and bales from place to place requires special vehicles with dedicated interchangeable headers, which you can purchase in the store.
- On the ground - as a last resort, you can simply pour the raw material onto the ground and collect it later with another vehicle. The safest and most convenient option, of course, would be to dump it in a specific building, such as a garage or a hut.
