Of course, animals will not be running freely around your farm. Therefore, before you acquire any animals, you need to prepare a place for them. Of course, you can only place buildings on a plot you own and they cannot interfere with fields or other constructions. On this guide page for Farming Simulator 25, you will find information on how to build pastures, chicken coops and pens.
How to set up a pen, chicken coop or pasture?
To be able to place an object, you need to open the shop menu and go to the last tab. Get to the building menu to gain access to the panel with buildings. At this stage, you have to choose the Animals category and the species you want to buy.
By clicking on a specific building from a given category, you can see its parameters. This way you will discover that pastures are a less efficient form of farming. Although they are the cheapest, they can accommodate fewer animals at the same time. When it comes to pens, they come in different sizes, which allows them to accommodate a larger number of animals. For example, this is how many sheep can go into each object:
- Pasture: 19
- Pen: 26
- Large pen: 68
Once you decide what you want to use, all that remains is choosing the right spot. At this stage, it is worth remembering that, except for coops, the shape of the pastures adjacent to the buildings can be modified - you can edit it through a pop-up window that will appear right after you set up the pasture. This way you can easily adjust the area so that it aligns with the road.
