How to build an apiary?

Bees are a relatively new addition to the series. They first appeared in Farming Simulator 22 and are now available again. This is definitely the most "passive" animal you can buy. All you need to do is buy beehives and honey production will start immediately. You don't need to feed the animals. The only thing you have to do is to regularly collect products.

You place beehives, just like pens for other animals, through the build mode. In total, there are seven different buildings available, in three sizes.

1. It is most profitable to build large hives (the largest one equals 33 small ones). It saves space and money, as the price "per piece" decreases. The numbers will show it best: the small one costs 500 euros and the largest one costs 3,000 euros.
2. You can place the hives anywhere on the farm, they do not take up much space. However, it is worth placing them near canola, sunflower or potato fields - bees give a bonus to the yield of these crops.

How to collect honey?

You have to designate a place for pallets with honey. On the farm, you can only have one such spot - honey from all your hives will appear in it. On the one hand, it's convenient because you don't have to travel around the map. On the other hand, if you have a lot of bees, the container will fill up faster.

Since you have to lift the pallets using loaders or forklifts, it is best to place them on flat and preferably hardened ground. Then you will not have problems with honey collection and wheels getting stuck.

How to sell honey?

Once it's collected, what can you do with the honey? It is not used in production chains, so you can only sell it. You will find several points that focus on this product on the map. However, it is worth considering exactly when to do this. The highest profits will be achieved in February, March and April.
