Farming Simulator 25 (FS25) Fans Report Performance Issues. Stuttering and Flickering Graphics Are Here
A few hours into FS25 release, and we can find players who report technical issues like stuttering and flickering graphics. Let's talk about it.
Farming Simulator is the most popular realistic farming sim, without any big competition. While its history is quite long, we can’t say that the series is ideal. On the contrary, it has some flaws. It seems that the latest installment, with the number 25, also has issues (you can read about them in our review). It seems that we can count among them technical problems. Many players report poor optimalization with lags and flickering graphics. Luckily, majority of them seem to be caused by shaders.
Fans are not happy with optimalization in FS25
It seems that many people report stuttering in Farming Simulator 25. Don’t panic, though. The culprit behind most of it is shaders. Yes, once your cache loads, it should be a lot better. Of course, lowering your graphics can also help. Remember though, that after doing so, the shaders might start to load again.
In the case of flickering textures, the situation is not so clear, as the source is unknown. Try to turn up your shadows values. Some players report that this issue was present as far as FS22. Hopefully, developers will look at the problem this time and fix it as soon as possible.
It seems that Farming Simulator 25 has a rough start. To the above fans’ issues, we can add trouble with changing language. At the time of writing this article, the game has mixed reviews on Steam. It seems that developers from Giants Software will have some work during the next few days.
