The section contains a walkthrough of the side quest Take the Highroad in The Bard's Tale IV: Barrows Deep. The side quests in this game are unusually long. Many of these last the entire game and this is also the case here.

Discover the Standing Stones

You get the mission once you talk to Stoney. This is his location, shown on the map - in the ruins underneath Skara Brae.

He will ask you to play the Wildland Whistle song at the stones nearby. The next stage of the quest is unlocking more of these places. You can use them to teleport.

After discovering enough stones, the quest will be updated. You have to go back to Stoney. The conversation with him will end the quest.
