The Song of the Maiden
In the last main quest you will find this riddle in a completely different edition. Small gears will handle large gears. This way, when configuring small gears, you have to pay attention to the big one, because it unlocks the doors/puzzles.
This cog is controlled by three small gears. Their correct setting looks as follows:
Look at the main gear wheel. You will notice that the cogs on the small gear wheels correspond to the cogs on the main gears.
The next gears you may find on your way should be positioned as follows:
Make sure that the wheel cogs are locked in place. This is especially important in the first gear wheel. These wheels open a bridge right next to you, on which you will find another riddle with a large gear wheel.
To open the door to the last boss, the small gears should look like this:
There are relatively few cogs to solve. Do not stand by one small gear wheel. The key to solving this complex puzzle is maneuvering between the small gears. This is the last puzzle in The Bard's Tale 4: Barrows Deep.
