Eye of Ender

The Eye of Ender

To get to The End, you need to find a stronghold. For that purpose, you can use the Eyes of Ender, which spring into the air, if held in a hand and used, and show you the direction towards the stronghold. It is a good idea to have more of them on you, because, after being used, they sometimes fall apart and do not fly far enough to reach the stronghold, after being used once, and they only point you in the correct direction. Most of the times, strongholds are located underground, at various depths. The Eye of Ender points directly at the entrance to the stronghold's main Hall.

While inside the stronghold, you need to find a hall with Silverfish spawner - past the spawner, there is the portal. To activate it, you need to insert the Eyes of Ender into all of the empty blocks of the portal, to activate it. With the portal activated, you need to enter it to teleport to The End.

Important information

It is impossible to return until you kill the Ender Dragon, so you should not go unprepared. Another way to get out of the End is to die.

Another important thing that you need to remember is equipping yourself with the pickaxe - the spawn in the end may appear underground and you may have to cut your way through to the surface.
