In Minecraft, the color of many objects can be changed. To change the color of an item, you need dyes. This page contains a list of objects from which you can create individual dyes.

Using dyes

Dyes can be used, for example, to create colored glass, change the color of beds or carpets. In addition to dyes, you must have a crafting table ready. In the crafting grid, you must place the object which you want to dye and the chosen dye.

Rose Red

It is used to dye objects red, to create it, you need one of the following ingredients.

1. Poppy;
2. Red Tulip;
3. Rose Bush;
4. Beetroot.

Orange Dye

Orange Dye can be obtained from a combination of Yellow and Red dyes or from an Orange Tulip.

Dandelion Dye/Yellow Dye

Yellow Dye. Obtained from Dandelion or Sunflower.

Blue Dye

Obtained by processing Lapis Lazuli or Cornflower.

Cactus Green

To get the cactus dye you have to smelt the plant (cactus) in a furnace.

Light Blue Dye

There are two ways of getting this dye:

1. Processing it from a Blue Orchid
2. Mixing Bone Meal and Lapis Lazuri.

Magenta Dye

There are three ways of getting a crimson dye:

1. By combining pink and purple dyes;
2. Crafting it from Lilac;
3. Crafting it from Allium;

Pink Dye

Another dye that you can create in several ways:

1. Red Dye plus Bone Meal;
2. Processing Peony;
3. Processing Tulip.

Light-Gray Dye

Light-Gray Dye requires following ingredients:

1. White Tulip;
2. Oxeye Daisy;
3. Azure Bluet;
4. Combining Grey Dye with Bone Meal 
5. Combining two Bone Meals with Ink Sac.

Black Dye

Black dye is obtained from Squid or Wither Rose.

White dye

You can extract it from Bone Meal or Lilly of the Valley.

Brown dye

Brown dye is made from Cocoa Beans.

Lime Dye

Obtained by combining Green Dye with Bone Meal or by smelting Sea Pickle.

Cyan Dye

Obtained by combining Green and Blue Dye or Green Dye and Lapis Lazuri.

Gray Dye

Obtained by combining Bone Meal and Ink Sac.

Purple Dye

Purple Dye is obtained by combining Lapis Lazuli and Red Dye.
