On this page of our Minecraft guide, you will find a list of the new biomes added with the Nether Update.

Soul Sand Valley

It is a huge grotto composed of exposed fossils, soul sand, soul soil, large pillars made of basalt, blue mist and soul fire.

It spawns ghasts, skeletons and striders.

Crimson Forest

It is a dense forest with huge scarlet mushrooms. The area is covered by fog.

It spawns Piglins, Zombie Piglins, striders and Hoglins.

Wrapped Forest

It is a blue variant of the scarlet forest, but with slightly different vegetation, blue particles and purple fog effects.

It is home to Endermen and Striders.

Basalt Deltas

The volcanic biome in the Nether. It is filled with basalt pillars and large areas of blackstone. The air is filled with light gray particles similar to ash.

Magma cubes and Striders spawn here.

Nether Wastes

Nether Wastes have various ores.

Piglins, Zombie Piglins and Striders spawn here.
